Why use ThermoPlus® ?
A recent study in the Netherlands has estimated that three weeks exposure to heat stress per annum would cost approximately €270 per cow (Feenstra, 2017). Managing heat stress is therefore a real economic issue for the ruminant sector.
Heat stress impacts not only the welfare of livestock but also affects feed consumption and feed efficiency. Growth performance, livestock health, milk and meat quality are impaired.

Delta® Green-Stimulates Rumen activity and provides energy for ruminants
Delta® Green is a functional product that stimulates rumen activity and provides energy for cows, ewes and goats. Its properties help to optimise the animals’ intake capacity, which is limited and does not cover all their energy requirements during specific periods such as the start of lactation, the start of reproduction, the start of fattening, etc.
The new nutritional supplement is made up of a combination of liquid sugars with different rumen degradation kinetics:
- sugars derived from starch, which stimulate the activity of rumen bacteria that make the most of the fibre in the ration.
- hepatic carbohydrates, which are more complex and used by the liver for gluconeogenesis.
The combination of these sugars enables volatile fatty acids to be produced over a period of time and helps to limit liver congestion by reducing weight loss among animals.
Delta® Green also includes plant extracts: artichoke, gentian and milk thistle, which help digest the fat and make it more palatable, while also improving the animals’ feed intake.
Thanks to its composition, Delta® Green is considered a palatable natural alternative to monopropylene glycol-based products (MPG). It also supports rumen and liver proper functioning.
